BREEAM ASSESSMENT

The Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) family of assessment methods and tools are all designed to help construction professionals understand and mitigate the environmental impacts of the developments they design and build.

JPA are accredited BREEAM Assessment Consultants for Offices, Schools, International, and buildings classified under the 'Bespoke' category by BRE. We are also Code for Sustainable Homes & EcoHomes Assessors and can provide advice and guidance on compliance with these standards.

Our Sustainable Design Consultants can also offer a dynamic Thermal Modelling Service that enables us to determine the thermal performance of a building at the design stage as well as day light analysis techniques; both requirements of a BREEAM Assessment.

Code for Sustainable Homes

Councils, housing associations, landowners and developers are increasingly asking for a BREEAM assessment to be carried out on their developments and stipulating their requirements in this benchmark as part of the planning conditions. Typically used standards are the Code for Sustainable Homes for new residential, Ecohomes for refurbished residential and BREEAM assessments for everything else.
