BSRIA: Construction (Design & Management) Regulations Amended
BSRIA announced that Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 came into force, replacing the original regulations first introduced in 1995, with subsequent amendments.
Two of the most notable changes, according to BSRIA, were the introduction of the Pre-Construction Plan and Construction Phase Plan in place of the Health & Safety Plan, and the change from planning supervisor to CDM coordinator.
BSRIA members can borrow the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP), containing a synopsis of the changes.
The Building Services Legislation Directory is now available on CD-ROM, which can be ordered off the BSRIA web site at infonet.bsria.co.uk/books-downloads/details/?p=1&i=218401&pa=r&anc=2.
